The prices and conditions of sale are for information purposes only and may be modified according to market fluctuations. However, the placing of an order by filling in the purchase form implies conformity with the price offered and with the general conditions of sale in force at that time. The customer may have access to the status of his order at any time..

Payment methods

BERWICK uses a "secure payment" system in order to ensure maximum payment security. Confidential payment data is transmitted directly to the relevant financial institution in encrypted form (SSL).

For payment by credit card, we only accept CES (Secure Electronic Commerce) transactions with the international 3D Secure protocol. When paying via a secure payment gateway, the system will automatically check that the credit card is activated for secure e-commerce. It will connect to the issuing bank, which will request authorisation for the transaction. The transaction will only be carried out after confirmation of the authentication code, otherwise the transaction will be rejected

Invoicing

You will be able to download your invoice from your account on our online site. If you wish to receive it on paper or by mail, you can request it when you place your order in the comments field to the seller.

Opening hours

At BERWICK you can shop at any time of the day, any day of the year. Please note that deliveries are made directly from the factory, which is open on working days. When the factory is closed for holidays or public holidays, it will be informed in this same section, so that the consumer is aware of the possible delay in delivery. It will also be announced on the home page of our website.

Shipping

  • For orders placed before 17:00, delivery times vary in peninsula, between 24 and 48 hours (working days), for Europe between 3 and 7 working days. We cannot guarantee these delivery times, although we try to ensure that transport companies meet them whenever possible. In rural areas far from urban centres it is not possible to guarantee delivery within 24 hours.
  • Delivery times will depend on the availability of each product, which is indicated in each product file, and will also affect the factory opening hours indicated in the previous section. In orders that include several articles, a single shipment will be made and the delivery time will correspond to the article with the longest delivery time.
  • An order will be considered delivered when the delivery receipt is signed by the customer.
  • The country of delivery must coincide with the billing country, otherwise the shipment cannot be made.
  • In case of receiving a product damaged by transport it is advisable to contact us within the first 24 hours to be able to claim the incident to the transport company.

Shipping costs

They are FREE for shipments over 100€ to mainland Spain and part of the European Union (*consult tables) outside these, the price of transport will be paid by the customer and will depend on the rate offered by the carrier, which is calculated according to the destination, the weight of the items and the quantity to be sent.

Shipments outside the European Union are usually subject to the payment of taxes and duties at destination, this depends on the legislation of each country. These costs will always be paid by the customer..

Exchanges and returns

In accordance with current legislation, if once you have received the product you are not satisfied, you may inform us that you wish to return it within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt.

We will not accept returns or exchanges of products that are missing accessories or parts, that present damage (scratches on the sole or damage to the leather), damage or signs of use beyond those necessary to check its good condition and that are the correct size. In the event that the original packaging and label are not complete and in correct condition, the boots may be depreciated.

If the size is not correct, or if you want to make an exchange for any other reason, you must proceed to the return by filling out this form, it will be necessary to contact us to accept the return. We will send you an email informing you of the 'return number' and the instructions to follow.

In order to make the return, we will need you to confirm an address where you can pick up the package during the working hours of the transport company and a contact telephone number. It is essential that a person is present to hand over the package to the carrier.

If for reasons beyond Berwick's or the carrier's control (e.g. if you are not at home when the parcel is collected) the parcel cannot be collected, we will only send the carrier once more to collect the parcel that the customer wishes to return. Once the two unsuccessful collection attempts have been exhausted, the return of the parcel to Berwick will be at the customer's expense and cost.

The transport costs of a first return will be free of charge for the customer (*consult tables), provided that the product is in perfect condition and in its original packaging. The costs incurred for second or more returns shall be borne by the customer (check with the supplier).

Right of withdrawal

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform the company within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt by filling in this form.

We will not accept returns of products that are missing accessories or parts, that present damage (scratches on the sole or damage to the leather), damage or signs of use beyond those necessary to check its good condition and that are the correct size. In the event that the original packaging and label are not complete and in correct condition, the product may suffer a depreciation.

In order to be able to return the product, we will need confirmation of an address where the package can be picked up during the working hours of the transport company and a contact telephone number. A person must be present to hand over the package to the carrier.

If, for reasons beyond Berwick's or the carrier's control (e.g. if you are not at home when the parcel is collected), we are unable to collect the parcel, we will only send the carrier once more to collect the parcel that the customer wishes to return. Once the two unsuccessful collection attempts have been exhausted, the return of the parcel to Berwick will be at the customer's expense and cost.

The transport costs for a first return will be free of charge if the shipping costs are also free of charge, see table*. The costs incurred for second or more returns will be borne by the customer.

Once we have received the goods and checked that they are in perfect condition, we will process the refund of the amount paid. The refund will be made within a maximum period of 14 working days from receipt of the goods.

Warranty

All products sold through our website berwickshoes.com are original BERWCIK products, manufactured in Almansa.

All products have a warranty period of 2 years, in accordance with Law 3/2014, of 27 March, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, except in exceptional cases where it may be of a different duration.

In the event that you need to exercise this guarantee, you should contact us at shop@berwickshoes.com It will be necessary to indicate your full name, the e-mail address with which the purchase was made and the order number. You can also send us an invoice, delivery note or order confirmation, which you can download from your account on our website.

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • Deterioration created by misuse of the product, improper use,
  • Damage caused by the user or by non-accredited third parties,
  • Damage caused by accident, lightning, flood, fire or any other cause for which the manufacturer is not responsible,
  • Use of the product outside the family and private environment, e.g. intensive professional use,
  • Deterioration created by adaptations, adjustments or modifications made to a product without written agreement with the manufacturer,
  • Deterioration due to repair, maintenance or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear,
  • Deterioration of accessories.
